【Artist Baton】
◆Your name?
Mack!
◆If possible, your age?
--Sorry, that is simply impossible to answer.
◆When did you start drawing?
--I dunno. A REEEEEEEALLY long time ago. I still have sketch books of mine (completely filled) from when I was about 7. Not to mention the little "art projects" my mom still has packed away in "special places" (like folders with a bunch of really old crap from my sister and me) somewhere around the house.
◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
--Right
◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
-- Well, I think the waist up on a person is easiest if it's male (don't have to worry about boobs), and the waist down is easiest if it's female (since females have curves and stuff, and I know where they go; I just have trouble drawing guys' legs, unless they're wearing some baggy pants or something). But I'd like to think I'm Proficient in drawing both.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
-- Generally, I think long hair is always easiest, 'cause I don't have to think about how it sticks up in the back. But curly hair is easiest for me if it's short because it takes just too damn long to do curls. Again, though, I don't think I'm too bad in either.
◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
-- When they're facing to the left.
( *>*)
◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
--Front. DIE, PROFILES! DIE!

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
--Proportions, drawing more than one character, Old people hands... or maybe just old people (they never look quite old enough, in my opinion)... and chibis 'cause I can't seem to be able to draw that kind of disproportionality. Whenever I attempt a chibi, I always end up trying to stick to actual human proportions... Ugh. Oh! And cats. I still don't think I can do cats. Or the leathery skin of an Elephant. And I have trouble with trees. Oh goodness, there are so many things I'm not good at!
◆What do you like to draw?
--Humans, pretty much. I like drawing hair. And swirly doodles. I really just like drawing anything that comes out of my pencil/pen.
◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
-- I can do both, and during the school year, it's pretty even (I doodle/sketch in class, and draw on tablet whenever home), but since I've discovered the wonders of the tablet, I have veered more towards digital (since it's MUCH easier coloring on the computer).
◆Where do you start drawing from?
I draw a circle for the head, then create a sketchy body from there in whatever position I want them in. Then I usually start with the eyes and nose (I do the mouth whenever I feel like it).
◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I tend to stop in the middle of pictures and go galavanting on the internet 'cause I get bored very easily. I have a true scatterbrain, so it's very rare that I actually work relentlessly on something. I also hover my fingers over the 'Ctrl' + 'z' key whenever drawing, even when I'm drawing on paper. I've seriously tried to 'Undo' something on paper before I realized there were no buttons there. Another thing I do is when just drawing on paper, I tend to tilt the paper about forty degrees to the left and draw with my head fairly low to the paper on the left, so my pictures often come out slightly slanted if I don't continuously readjust the paper and look at it straight on.

◆What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
I dunno. It's not gonna be perfect, so stop spazzing over the uneven lines.
◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
The 'Multiply' and 'Dodge' settings are GOD! So use them! It makes your life a whole helluva lot easier. Oh! And the 'Smudge' tool! I love the smudgety goodness!

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Eternity.
<<----Pictures are NEVER complete.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Coming up with ideas generally only takes a few seconds. It's getting them down that's the problem. Actually, when I want to come up with a great idea for the background, THEN I take forever to think of one. And usually never ACTUALLY come up with a coherent idea of a background (I just end up messing with various brushes until I come up with something presentable).
◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Tablet!

I love my tablet. And my sissy who got it for me.
◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I really like using black and reds together. And white and blues together. Not sure why, but that's the palette I steer towards often.
◆Your favorite style(s)?
I dunno. My style!

At least, that's the style I like to draw. I like viewing things in Marvel Comic book style as well as beautiful painting awesomeness and indesputable wonderful pictures. I know, not vague at all!
◆Are you satisfied with your current art?
I'm satisfied with how I'm progressing.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
PIXAR! But not on my free time. I rather like the way I draw now. Though, at some point, I'd like to be able to draw more realistic people (i wouldn't do it all the time 'cause that'd be boring; I'd just like the ability to do so).
◆Thank you.
Now please fill in the next columns by writing the names of the artists that match the criteria.
